AD WRITING STEP 4
DOS AND DON'TS

*****************************************************
READ THIS BEFORE YOU START WRITING YOUR FIRST AD!

Don't try to memorize ALL THIS, just let it wash over your brain
and stay there. You will eventually know exactly what's going on
with adwriting the more you do it.

1. Never say "Big Dogs" in your ad. Most of your audience has
seen Big Dogs so much that they think they know what its about-
even though they don't. The purpose of your ad is not to get
them to buy the book (don't mention the price either)- Stan's
site does that very well without you.

2. Your main job should be to simply get them to go to the site,
get the information there, and read it all the way. Just tell
them that this information will make a difference in their
lives like it did yours....etc.

They are NOT going to do a thing you say unless they relate to
you in every paragraph. So that should be your goal: GET THEM
TO RELATE TO YOU.

Open up their mind and their heart so when they click on the
link, they are open and they feel emotionally MOVED to buy.
Use your Human Touch! THAT's How You Do it.

3. Get rid of anything that sounds "Salesy" in your ad. People
are sick and tired of sales pitches. That's what 98% of marketers
do and there is no question why 98% of marketers fail.

Look at each sentence you write and ask: "Does this sound like a
sales pitch?" If you answer yes at anytime, then you need to change
that sentence.

4. Don't use the ad in the ebook or in any Big Dogs Bulletins.
I already told you this but I really want it to hit home. Those ads
are old, stale, salesy and ineffective now. Everyone who's done a
Big Dogs interview NEVER puts in their best ad because it would just
get ripped off. That's why you never see the best ads until you post
to MyEbizPage.

5. Don't tell them to BUY anything. Don't even say that its an
ebook. Just tell them that they need to go to the site and get
this information today. Tell them how its changed your life and
tell them why it will change theirs.

BUT DON'T TELL THEM LOGICALLY, TELL THEM EMOTIONALLY.

Don't say:

**This will teach you how to market in less than One Hour a DAY!
**This will give you up to 10,000 quality leads everyday!

Anything like that is logical and salesy- It just doesn't work
anymore.

People buy based off of their emotions so....

Instead appeal to their emotions:

**Say that they won't have to spend hours posting and be lost in
barrels of junk email anymore.

**Tell them that it's ok because you went through the same frustration
they did.

**Tell them that it is possible to make money online and it doesn't
have to be this way. Etc.

**Tell them about all the support you've received and actually talking
with real people instead of hiding behind the internet!

**Tell them they aren't alone!

SEE THE DIFFERENCE? It's all Emotional- and that's what sells!

You don't have to copy these exact lines, just think about what you
say and make sure that it comes from an emotional standpoint, not so
much of a logical standpoint. If you mix the two, make sure the
Emotional side is STRONGER.

This way they will click on the link with an open mind.

Now that you know these points, keep them in your mind as you
go through the adwriting process.
